McCanns..checking or checkmate?

Video and Transcript

When we analyse the checking the McCanns supposedly did on their children on the night of the May 3rd...

...Some things don't appear to make logical sense

Let's remind ourselves of the supposed timeline...

OPRAH - "So let's go back to that night, 9:05, you were all at dinner, you you made the check at 9, so you're checking every half hour."

GERRY- "It was actually 9 o' clock, the whole group were in the restaurant and one of our friends Matt he went up and checked his daughter and as he came back I went up to check on Madeleine and the twins and I went into the apartment and we were really just checking to see if they're crying and the door..."

OPRAH- "Checking to see if there was any crying."

GERRY- "Yeah, and that was it and the door was open more, I'd left it just ajar, about 5 degrees and we checked on them before we left and they were sound asleep."

OPRAH- "Which door, you thought..."

GERRY- "This was the bedroom went..."

OPRAH- "This was about 9:05"

GERRY- "Just yeah, I went outside in a minute and it was one of the other guests, he was coming the other way, but he didn't actually cross the road to chat to me and we were sort of chatting for about 5 minutes and during that Jane went to check on her children, and it was at that point she was just past us going up to the corner and she saw a man carrying a young girl with, you know, she described independently the pyjamas that Madeleine had on and she didn't see the child's face, she didn't, you know, she saw me there, she'd seen that I'd just been in the apartment and at the time she thought there was something odd but it didn't raise enough alarm bells to challenge the person then"

OPRAH- "So you checked at about 9:05, another friend sees this man at 9:15 and you went back to check again at..."

KATE- "Well actually, 9:30 I stood up to go and check on Madeleine, it was my turn and at the same time Matt our friend stood up and we both started walking and he said, "I'm going to go and check on Grace" they were in the next apartment to us, I said "I'll check on Madeleine" and he hesitated a bit and he said "No, I'll check" so he went to check at half 9, came back and said "Fine, everything's fine" So then I went at 10 o'clock, the next check, erm..."

OPRAH- "Did he see her in the bed at 9:30?"

KATE- "No, he just went in and listened...no crying"

OPRAH- "So he came back and said 'everything's fine'. Everybody's just checking to see if there's crying, there's no crying, so everything's fine and so then you went at ten"

So roughly around the 9:00pm mark or so Matt, Gerry and Jane go SEPARATELY and check on their respective children.

It is therefore around this time they claim Madeleine was abducted based on what Jane supposedly saw outside.

At the 9:30 check Kate claimed she got up to check but Matt stood up at the same time and offered to check both apartments

Matt supposedly did not enter the bedroom and therefore did not notice that Madeleine was supposedly missing

We therefore now have three supposed facts we can analyse...

1) Gerry is basically claiming that the supposed abductor was probably in the apartment when he checked...

...because the bedroom door was opened more than he left it open before going out that night

Is it just an unlucky coincidence that he strangely ignored it and left or is the claim a lie to promote the abduction theory?

2) Jane is claiming she actually saw the abductor...

...Is it just unlucky coincidence that she strangely ignored it as she saw that Gerry had just checked his children?

Or is the claim a lie to promote the abduction theory?

3) Matt is claiming he just listened at the bedroom door on his 9:30 check

Is it just unlucky coincidence that Kate did not do the 9:30 check...?

...or is the claim a lie to create time for a supposed abductor to leave the area?

You could argue that all 3 supposed facts are unlucky coincidences that allowed an abduction to occur

Or you could argue that all 3 are lies that created the conditions for a fake abduction

But something is very strange about the whole supposed checking they all claim to have done

...so strange that it would qualify as circumstancial evidence to indicate that the checking story is a lie...

Fiona Payne confirmed to the police that the holiday was planned for ADULTS ONLY evenings

Fiona says they planned it so that the apartments were close to each other so they could supposedly check on their children...

...while the adults had a drink together on a balcony...

Well this group decided to enjoy themselves some distance from the apartments at the tapas bar

Which left them all some distance to walk to do their checks

Do you think that people who are enjoying adult time...

...people who are willing to leave their children alone and out of sight...

...people like the McCanns who are willing to leave virtual babies alone in an unlocked apartment...

...Don't you think that such people would also 'cut corners' in regards to the checking?

Remember this is the 5th night that they all left their children...

...Not the 1st - the 5th...

Is it therefore not logical well before the 5th night that if they were checking regularly as they claim...

...that they would arrange for ONE person on each check to do the checking of all apartments...

(especially as they were all next to each other)

...So they could more easily enjoy their 'adult' time together?

And yet we are expected to believe that every half hour or so, several different people, not at exactly the same time either...

...are still checking INDIVIDUALLY on their own children

THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE

Everything here that doesn't make sense rather strangely also creates the perfect conditions...

...for both an abduction to be CLAIMED, WITNESSED AND TIME CREATED FOR THE SUPPOSED ESCAPE FROM THE AREA

The McCanns are selling us all a supposed abduction that is completely contradicted by logical assessment of the facts

Are you buying what they're trying to sell you?
